Smores Dip!

Hello! I apologize for not posting for over a year. I have been busy with school and extracurriculars and have not had time to post. Here is a recipe that keeps you cozy during the cool breezes of the summer nights.

Prep time : 2 min

Cook time : 8 min

Total time : 10 min



INGREDIENTS 



  • 1 bag milk chocolate chips I recommend Guittard or Ghirardelli, Nestle does not melt well

  • 1 bag large marshmallows

  • graham crackers, cookies and fruit for serving.



INSTRUCTIONS 



  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Pour the chocolate chips into an 8 or 9 inch skillet.

  • Bake for 3-4 minutes or until chocolate is melted.

  • Arrange the marshmallows over the top of the chocolate chips.

  • Bake for 2-3 minutes or marshmallows are browned.

  • Serve immediately with graham crackers, cookies and fruit for dipping.


NOTES

  1. I use milk chocolate chips, and quality counts here so I recommend using Ghirardelli or Guittard chocolate chips. They melt well and have a good flavor. Don’t use Nestle.

  2. Make sure your skillet is oven safe. If you don’t have an oven safe skillet you can use any similar sized baking dish or baking pan.

  3. Arrange your marshmallows in a single layer in a circular pattern. This helps the marshmallows to brown evenly.
